WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT GLOBAL ALLIANCE

The Workforce Development Global Alliance (WDGA) is a global, innovative 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to empower youth to Get Along (Step 1) to Get Ahead (Step 2) while equipping the family household for success (Step 3). Founded in 2006, WDGA has inspired youth in the USA and Kenya to remain committed to their education by highlighting the connections between the classroom and the workroom and exposing youth to career opportunities. Job Shadow days, internship experiences, workshops, coaching, and tutoring resulted in improved academic performance and motivation to stay the course. WDGA is driven by its mission to serve students holistically by providing a sense of purpose and making a difference in their fragmented lives. Vision: A lifeline opportunity for broader family engagement, support, and relations promoting community and economic development, as a stronger household, creates a stronger youth and a stronger youth creates a stronger household.
